Hi - My name is Gary Arnold.

As a child, I loved writing letters, and was so fortunate to have Stan Laurel as one of my pen pals.

 In 1958, at the age of 14, I had the opportunity to meet Stan Laurel during my family's trip to Southern California. That is a visit I will never forget. The excitement of sitting there in his living room at the Oceana Hotel-Motel in Santa Monica, visiting for an hour or so!! Mr. Laurel was so gracious.
